Hello my name is Rebecca. I am an Allied Health Professional Specialising in supporting, mothers who wish to breastfeed.
In my chosen field as a Lactation Consultant, I provide you with the necessary skills, support and guidance to enable you and your baby to enjoy the experience and benefits of breastfeeding.
I can also offer assistance with settling techniques and care of your newborn.
Whilst breastfeeding is the natural way to provide nutrition for a growing baby, it is a learned skill for both mother and baby.
Sometimes difficulties may occur, leaving a mother feeling uncomfortable, anxious or frustrated.
Your needs as a breastfeeding mother are unique and so too are the special needs of your baby.
My Consults are conducted in the privacy of your own home, in the Adelaide metropolitan area, a consult fee applies, please phone for more details (0414 701 412)
I also can arrange a visit if you are outside of this area, eg Adelaide Hills, Barossa Valley, etc.
The Consult includes taking a detailed history, teaching the correct techniques with breastfeeding and a follow-up can be conducted by telephone or email.
My hours are Monday to Friday and some Saturday appointments. The minimum consult is of a 2 hour duration.
